World Narcolepsy Day Story Sharing: Meet Kerly in London!
In celebration of World Narcolepsy Day (September 22), Rising Voices speaker Kerly Bwoga will share her narcolepsy story from London, UK! From her diagnosis at age 18 to creating and hosting the Narcolepsy Navigators podcast, Kerly will share her journey to becoming a powerful voice in the sleep community and helping others be heard.

About Kerly:
Kerly Bwoga is a London-based sleep advocate, speaker, podcast host and founder of NapsForLife CIC. She is also the founder, producer, and host of Narcolepsy Navigators, a podcast and advocacy platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and lived experiences of people affected by narcolepsy and other central disorders of hypersomnolence.
Kerly was diagnosed with type 1 narcolepsy with cataplexy at the age of 18. Drawing on her own lived experience, she is passionate about improving awareness, representation, education, and support for people living with sleep disorders.
Through Narcolepsy Navigators, Kerly helps create a global platform where patients, advocates, clinicians and members of the wider sleep community can share their experiences and perspectives. Outside of her advocacy work, Kerly enjoys photography, animals, travel, creative writing and designing coloring books.
As a speaker with Project Sleep’s Rising Voices program, Kerly shares her experience of living with narcolepsy and uses her passion for helping others to advocate for people living with this neurological condition.

What is the Story Sharing Series?
Project Sleep’s Rising Voices program serves the dual purpose of fostering a new generation of patient-advocates spreading awareness of sleep disorders while empowering participants. The Rising Voices Story Sharing Series invites viewers to gather online to hear a Rising Voices trained speaker share their story live via Project Sleep’s YouTube channel.
