About Maha:

Maha Awad is an Arab-American TV host and voice actor, producer, and Arabic consultant with over 20 years of experience in front of and behind the camera internationally. Maha began experiencing sleepiness symptoms as far back as high school but was finally diagnosed with type 2 narcolepsy without cataplexy nearly three decades later. As a trained speaker with Project Sleep’s Rising Voices program, Maha hopes to raise awareness about this highly misunderstood condition in the US and across the Middle East.
