Investment Banker CJ Gray Joins Project Sleep’s Board of Directors
In February 2026, CJ Gray joined the Board of Directors of Project Sleep, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of sleep health, sleep equity, and sleep disorders.
CJ Gray is the Founder and Managing Partner of New Ridge Partners, an investment firm focused on partnering with and growing private businesses. He brings over a decade of experience in private equity and investment banking, having held roles at Welsh Carson, New Mountain Capital, Ares Management, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he specialized in healthcare and financial sponsor transactions.
CJ received his B.A. from Cornell University in 2013. In addition to his work at New Ridge Partners, he serves on the Finance Committee of the Westchester Country Club and the Alumni Executive Board of Rye Country Day School. CJ lives in Greenwich, CT with his wife, Madi, and their dog, Oliver.
As a person living with Restless Legs Syndrome, CJ’s connection to the cause is “deeply personal,” he says. “Living with Restless Legs Syndrome, I understand firsthand how sleep disorders can quietly shape every aspect of your life. Project Sleep is doing critical work to close the awareness gap, and I’m honored to bring my experience in finance, strategy, and company-building to help advance that mission,” he shares.
